Richard Feynman was a theoretical physicist who received the Nobel Prize for his work in quantum electrodynamics. He was known for asking the mathematicians around him to explain certain concepts to him in simple language, in order to test their understanding.

The first step is to choose a topic you want to understand and simply start studying it. Once you know what it's about, take a piece of paper and write about the topic as if you were trying to teach someone else. In that case, start again from the beginning.
